Last Outdoor Market of Winchester Farmers Market

Few days ago, Winchester Farmers Market has launched its last outdoor market of their present season. Because of this, regrettably, season of sweet corn has come in to an end. However, most of the crops will grow continuously even after the season. Hence, vendors of farmers market will continue to sell and harvest their crops until the weather allows them to do so. Every Saturday, Song Yarn, belongs to Flats Mentor farm brought huge array green vegetables to Winchester Farmers Market. Yang continuously brings green vegetables at the market, until her produced crops become out of season. According to Song Yang, “Unless my Flats Mentor farm stays protected from frost, I will supply green vegetables to Winchester Farmers Market.”

Despite of failure in production due to frost, vendors of ready to eat food have succeeded in supplying plenty of packed foods to their customers on last day of Winchester’s outdoor market. This includes cider and warm soups at Bistro 5 tent, chowder of hot corn at popular café named Cocoa Express Café. In addition, some of the vendors have also offered delicious autumn goodies and apple pies to their customers. Other than this, visitors have got the opportunity to buy special type of meat from John Crow Farm or to select popular seafood from famous Globe Fish Company on the last outdoor market. If this is not enough, specialty food vendors have offered truffles, chocolates and nuts and wines on last outdoor market of the season.
